About this level
These puzzles start with 36 to 40 numbers filled in, and every empty square can be worked out by spotting the one number that fits. No guessing, ever.
Easy is the right place to start, or to warm up with a coffee. Most squares fall to the simplest move there is: look at a square, rule out every number already in its row, column and box, and see what's left. When only one number is left, write it in.
Stuck anyway? Tap Hint and the game fills in one square and tells you why that number had to go there. Undo takes back as many moves as you like.
Across 200 easy puzzles from our generator, the average start was 37.7 given numbers, and every one could be finished with single-option moves alone.
